Subject: Re: Cubs legend Ron Santo dies by bogus on 2010/12/3 17:58:21 sad.... but to be honest, I never heard of him. I am a Phillie's guy, and 1969 was a bit before my time. My condolances, tho, to all of his family, friends and fans. I know what it is like when someone like this passes. It leaves a huge void, however strange that it does. I never considered it until Harry Callas passed. He was the voice of the Phillies... How do you replace that after 40 years? When Vin Scully passes or retires, how will the Dodgers replace him? |
