Yep, it's laminate. I didn't scrap it all off and those areas that you can see the sub floor the old vinyl wasn't really glued down anymore.
I was worried about putting over the uneven areas where there was still the vinyl but with the premium padding underneath the laminate it worked great.
Now I need to finish up a few areas of spackle and paint.
