My son has an 04 Maxima. I drive an 08 Acura TL. I agree with you, that heated steering wheel is incredible. I don't like wearing gloves, and if I'd have found the right Maxima when I was looking, I'd have bought it over the TL, just for the heated wheel!!
My son drove the TL and said it's the bizzaro version of the Maxima. Sport coupe feel, but the TL is a little more closed in. The TL has good low end acceleration, but at highway speeds, only ok. The Maxima, has ok low end acceleration, but will really go at higher speeds.
