As is Saudi Arabia (which the King of, has to a nats ass away from freaking out right now). We honestly paid them to stay out of our way with Iraq and Iran.... It's a tough fence Mubarak has had to straddle... Support USA, not piss off the extremist who hate the USA, maintain his power and believe me - nobody get's away clean when you stand for NOTHING but yourself. It's funny when this first started the MSNBC morons all were like "they just want their freedom, and that they don't "hate the USA".... I guess they actually believed that stupid shit.... because fast forward a few days and Anderson Cooper and Christin Amanpour are nearly lynched in the streets of Cairo.... by people shouting "DEATH TO USA" of all things. There is no way out of this. Easy or othewise. We fostered the situation and now the situation is well out of hand. It's going to be whatever it is going to be and you can be 100% assured it's going to be bad for our interest. The "Brotherhood" is poised to take the reigns. They are the only group with the man power and resources in Egypt to oppose the current administration. You can tell it is a done deal because the US media and the White House are trying to down play the extremist within the Brotherhood.... The problem is when the chips are down these extremist are the ones yelling the loudest and the people of Egypt are going to follow their lead. It might take a hot min for the extremist to gain 100% command of the Govt, but eventually they will. Will |
