The Dana 36 was the smaller unit. It was used on all 1984 Corvettes, and all automatic Corvettes thru 1996...

I have heard that... but at the same time, you had to do things by HIS numbers. If you varied from that, he would just as easily disown you.

Not to begrudge the deceased, but he and I went around and around on things on more than one occasion. And I got to the point where I resented his twisting my words into little tight knots. I felt there were better things for one to do with their time than that.
