Subject: Re: Sunday Chat 05.08.11 by biggrizzly on 2011/5/8 13:27:01 This day has been a conundrum for me over the years. My wife and I have no children, so there is no mother that lives here. Her mom passed away several years ago and they were not on the best of terms anyway. The only mother left to honor, is my own and the wife and her are mostly amicable but they have their differences. If I dote over my mom then my spouse can get her fur up in hackles and that causes grief for me. Argghhh! Today I had to make a choice. I'm planning on leaving Kathie here for the afternoon and going to hang out with my Mom, Sister and her kids and my Dad. We are planning on a nice afternoon dinner at a restarant near Annapolis. However, I still can't help but feeling guilty for leaving my wife behind here. I think she could make the 45 minute drive and dinner but I think she finds it easier to stay here. Oh well... We will see how it all goes. No car time this weekend for me. Crap, another lost weekend and still about 8 hours from completion. I might have to take off work one day just to work on the car and not tell the wife or anyone I'm home...LOL |
