My bestest buddy is here, so that's good. But I was getting used to hanging out with some really attractive women back in Colorado. And my friend is neither attractive, nor female... Time to make some new friends, I guess! The job search begins in earnest on Tuesday, though I have already laid some ground work. Yesterday, my buddy and I were hanging out in his garage, when a burgundy Viper coupe slid sideways by the end of his driveway and collected a light post in the parking lot of the gas station across the street. He jumped a curb in the process. The dude and his wife were alright. Front suspension is toast. Guessing the oil pan and neighboring bits are destroyed. Both front wheels and one rear were bent badly. Hood and driver's side fender are toast. It was surreal... Like "Dude that's a Vi....Holy SHIT IT'S SIDEWAY.... Uh oh...." Hope the guy has good insurance... I feel bad for him. Didn't hear him revving it up before the accident. So I don't think he was hot-dogging or anything. Not sure what excitement awaits me today.
