I was up early but then was reading my Corvette Mag in bed and fell back asleep. I dreamed I was at a Corvette shop and people were driving their cars in and there were things to eat and I was giving advice to them and telling them about the Guru........then the dog jumped up in bed and I woke up. It was a good dream. I'm with you Tommy, 21 years for me since demon rum has passed my lips. I am at a point that I could drink a cold beer every now and then but then I just get a Busch N/A and that takes care of it. I have seen alcohol distroy a lot of lives and it was on the way to mess mine up if I didn't quit. So with some help from above and wanting to be a responsible husband and father I gave it up. Never looked back and never regreted it. Thank you all who have served and are serving for the freedoms I enjoy. A lot of men and women have died or been hurt a long way from the homes and folks they love, to do that for me and mine. I never forget or take what I have for granted. I am going to eat steak and potato salad and drive my Vette today! I hope you guys have and easy day...... |
