Traffic wasn't bad until I got to around Topeka, then it was not fun from there on. The ole 'Vette was making around 27mpg (26.8 actually). The temps were as high as 103, good thing the AC works well. Bill, you've made some headway with those cabinets. Matt, glad you got the pool going, I'm sure that it will be well worth it. Brad sounds like you got the same hot weather we do....do you have the wind as well? It was blowing about 30mph making it a blast furnace. Get up tomorrow and head out about 8:30 on another 6 hour drive. Should get to Effingham by mid afternoon. |
