As the majority of people accept others for their differences, I'm sick and tired of having to be re-reminded of those differences and "taught" that it's OK.

So I'm inclined to raise my voice and tell those to just SHUT-UP!

Yea, but for the other moronic assholes who don't want to remember, go out and beat someone up because they are "different."

I have a major problem with that, and if a few PSA's are required to stop it, then so be it.

Personally, I am more sick and fucking tired of seeing ads for Viagra, Cialis, Colonflow, and any number of female hygienics. Do I really need to learn about a limp dick and smelly crotch?

The last time I checked, neither of those problems will result in someone getting killed.

However, it wasn't that long ago, that a man was beaten, dragged by a pick-up truck and then tied to a fence and left to die - all because he was gay.

Sorry, bud. These PSA's will have to continue - just like to occasional reminders about anti-racism - until the REAL majority have decided its ok to not hate.

If I had a limp dick, I would hate that. But if any man on the street did, I wouldn't know and don't care.

As for religion - "Opium of the people." Karl Marx. And he is so damned right. When he wrote that, it was in regards to how the kings and queens of Europe would control the genpop via the fear of God.

And we wonder why religion, in general, is so fucked up. People killing people over the same God. The irony is almost delicious, if it wasn't for the fact that millions die because of it.

Western nations are going through a rough period of social change. I almost expect it to lead to class war if we are not careful. The gap between sides is only growing, it's not narrowing.

Oh, yea, you called me a "wishy-washy" moderate, who "flip-flops" on issues.

I do NOT flip-flop on specific issues. What I do is pick my fights and my issues.

For example, I am:

... Pro-2nd amendment
... Pro-Choice
... Pro-death penalty
... Anti-handouts
... Pro-small government
... Anti-flat tax
... Pro-gay marriage
... Pro-true equal rights
... Pro-tort reform
... Pro-fiscal responsibility

As you know, Steve, I don't vary from those tenants, but I am too socially liberal to be a Republican, and too fiscally conservative to be a Democrat. All that leaves is Libertarian. And LaRouche creeped me out.

On religion? It's all about fear. Fear of Gods wrath; fear of hell; fear of NOT FITTING IN. Each religion thinks it's the only way to heaven... Sorry, bud, that ain't playing.

Man has perverted religion for his own greedy gains. It is that simple. And has been doing it for centuries.

Oh, and don't get me started on Scientology. Those ppl are WEIRD.

Here is a generalization that you all can chew on:

The left is trying to grow the mind, open thought and eliminate intellectual and irrational emotional barriers so we as a nation and a world can move forward with a more open dialog.

The right is more concerned with preserving some idyllic image of the past, by stifling learning and emotional growth, all in the name of God and all the fire and brimstone he can unleash.

What I find fascinating, is that 300+ years ago, the Imans who ruled early Muslim made a conscious decision to disconnect their people from "decedent western culture." Look how emotionally backwards many of those nations are today. Many are societies of lemmings, following the word of a dictator, whilst totally subjugating themselves.

We must be careful as to not go too far one way or the other. To far to the "intellectual" nirvana, the closer we get to communism and socialism. Too far to the perception of traditional values and we go stagnate. No more advancement because of a paralyzing fear to move.

Ok, I am done.
