I took the Vette over to a local exhaust shop and had them replace the X-Pipe with the factory resonator to see if that would help. Pretty much no change. I was afraid of that as the it is a straight through resonator. The next step is to install a set of factory muffs or get the Flowmaster 50 series installed. Its still loud as sin. Also... the engine has developed a miss over the past couple days of driving it back and forth to the shop. I need to check all the plug wires again and make sure none have burned up on a header or fallen off. This is getting old... real fast. |
