If I thought it would do well financially, I'd open one up! What fun that would be. We do still have one left near Baltimore which is a reasonable drive for me. It is the last remaining Drive-In in Maryland, so some of the younger people will have an opportunity to check it out if they have the desire. However, I would guess they would think it is weird or something that old people used to do. I was lucky in that I was probably at the tail end of the drive-in era and was able to experience the "steamy" nights at the drive-in before their demise in the 70s/80s.
