I watched the youtube videos on rebuilding a CS144. Says the most common issue is the bridge rectifier going bad. Can be changed out in about 10 minutes. But I'm not sure if that's the problem. Could also be a bad stator, voltage regulator, windings, bearings, etc. I'm gonna call the local electrical rebuild place and ask them what they replace. They did my CS130 about 4 years ago and charged me $90. Not sure what they replaced. Hope everyone has a great day! Matthew |
