It certainly was exciting (car wise) Jeff. The anticipation of the new car models was something else, a big event. My buddie borrowing the old man's new Chrysler with a 440, taking the air cleaner off and street racing (the guys with 57 Chev wondering how something that damn big could be so fast  ).Riding in the very first GTO convertable or the first 383 Dodge Charger. Buying a 57 chev for $300 or a 63 Corvette for $1,300 (I did). Fun times, especially for car freeks. |
