Subject: Sun. Chat 11.06.11 by TommyT-Bone on 2011/11/6 11:16:13 GM CGs After I worked a full day out in the yard my wife came home from the plant show and sale she is working this weekend. With her usual full of piss and vinegar self she wanted to start putting the kitchen back together again. The faucets, disposal and dishwasher made it to the reinstall. I was brain dead around half way through those jobs. My tourettes came back with a vengence , which is usually the case when I get overtired and numb in the skull. Of couse lots of stuff needs minor mods to accomodate the reinstall but they're getting done. Today the microwave has to be remounted. It also needs a little adjustment to brace the frame. Here's the show stopper. On the bar section of the counter, on the biggest peice of granite she found a hairline crack. She called the installer pronto. It's about 18 inches long. Looks to be a stress crack. He'll be here around noon to fix it. I hope and pray he does a good job on the fix. If not, there's gonna be hell to pay and I'm gonna have a ringside seat. |
