I'll be able to eat and taste my food. The radiation is starting to cause my mouth to feel real sore. Kinda' feels like I have a huge cold sore that wants to bust out on my lower lip, and my tongue has been real sore and tender. It's a pretty common side effect from what I hear. On the positive side, the tumor on my forehead is GONE, I've lost very little hair! Only five more treatments left. I'll be glad when it's done.

Have a good rest of the weekend all!

Ron

Did they give you any RadiaGel for the skin dryness. I suffered really dry mouth for a long time after. There is a type of gum you can by at health food stores that increases the slyvia in your mouth. It helped me with the same distress you are going through.

Hang in it is almost ofer and you will regain your taste buds.
