Swinging a pick the other day upset the gentle balance between nerve and muscle in my lower spine. Wifey still thinks I'm a teenager. Some of the things she asks me to do make me cringe but they must get done, so ........... I do them. Sometimes I'm OK after a task, sometimes I'm not. Painting can have that effect but it mainly comes when rolling the ceilings. It's not like I'm not in shape. I do my back execices on a regular basis. Once every five years or so. Todays mission. Finish packing, loading, run the boat, water the plants, and lightly clean the house. Then some pre-trip shopping for animal food and stuff to take with us. We have a short drive in the morning of about 2 hours. Unpack and let the vacation begin. |
