Yea but be careful with the heat gun (I use a hair dryer since it doesn't get as hot).

And peel the vinyl back over itself (not straight up) like you do with masking tape to reduce the possibility of pulling any paint off.

Any adhesive left behind - WD or GooGone Citrus Gel.

I do this all the time on the racecars.
