The past few days I took a look around at what we have ammassed through the years. I remember as a kid growing up our family's financial distress. As an enlisted man in the USAF I dreamed of having a good job that payed well and had good benefits. I dreamed of owning a home. I dreamed of having a bigger and nicer home. As I looked around the other day I realized all my dreams had come true. I am the guy I dreamed of being as a kid. The best thing of coming from the have-nots is the feeling of appreciation and satisfaction that comes from goal achievement. Keep plugging away and your dreams will come true. It just might take you a lifetime.
Sorry about the sinus issues...the pollen has been hell this year. And as for the rest of your post, with the exception of your Service to this Great Country( I salute you Good Sir , I know enlisted men are not Sir, but you know what I mean.Thanks) I think we're living parallel lives. If we could just get the kids to see that hard work pays dividends, we'd all be better off.
Segway.... Today I washed, dried, clayed,washed, dried, Zaino 5'ved, and finally Show Polished the Vette today. Damn! that was a lot of work, But, It sure looks Great! And I'm beat. Hope everyone had a great (que Twilight Zone theme) Friday the Thirteenth! Later, Alan
