I'm sure the kids told their parents that the meet was for school, so how would the parents know? Legally the School probably has 1 leg to stand on because it wasnt sanctioned, but morally? And they find out their staff member has warrants? They will be facing a lot more trouble than just refusing to lend a hand finding the kids a 4 hour ride. I think that I probably would have rented a van and picked them up myself if I were the school's Athletic director. Proves to me that he's in it for a paycheck......not his student's overall safety.
