Hear an odd noise coming from under the hood, look at my DIC and the battery light is on. Look at the charging system and it's not charging. Wifey: Am I taking that car? Me: Ah .... No! Wifey: shake head Me:  Could always be worse ...... Still sucks though. Rebuilt alternator is maybe a couple of years old and lucky if it has 3000 miles on it. They had to use my old pully and face because it was different than stock due to the reverse mounting with the supercharger. I'm going to bring it to my starter/alternator shop instead of trying to get a replacemet. Let him fix what needs to be fixed and fix it right the first time. Another day in the life. |
