A-frame bushings for the S10 today and a rebuilt alternator for thr 91. Guy at the alternator/starter shop did an outstanding job. He reset the pulley and shaft for better alignment. He also found the cable going to the alternator was defective and replaced it. Looks great. I'll never buy a store bought rebuilt as long as this guy is around. As usual, the mechanic that services everything but the Vettes and Porsches threw in a little extra. He cleaned up my K&N air filter on the Vette for no charge. The mechanic and alternator shop are two doors down from each other. He saw it was a little dirty and just did it. Whats really cool is these guys are just hard working, honest guys. When I get the bill from them it's like. Thanks, you guys are great. The bills are fair with no fluff and no BS. I'm feel lucky to have these guys around. The electric shop guy fixed our diesel skid steer the other day. It was having starting issues. The dealer and three different indepentdent diesel mechanics couldn't figure it out. They threw expensive parts at it and it was never right. This guy squared it all away for about $325. Combined, the other guys got us for a couple of grand.

I feel like going out and doing a few burnouts to test the alternator. What do burnouts have to do with it? Nothing! Still feel like giving it a little juice though.
