They do meat a little differently than in the other chains around here. You can pick a big hunk of meat and they'll cut it any way you want. Hamburger, cubed steak, chunk meat for stew. Just tell them what you want and the meat cutters do it. Most of the Hispanic chains down here do that also. I wasn't there for that though. They had some beef loin tenderloin on sale for $6.99 a lb. Picked up two loins just under 4 lbs each. I brought them home, cut them up, bagged and froze some. Then I fired up the grill and made some for dinner. Having some sweet potatoes and cauliflower with it. Just waitin for Sue to get home. She should be here soon. Hard workin women gotta eat. ......... Well .... the lazy ones too. They can have beans and franks. |
