Hello gang.
Wifey asked me to asist on a project dealing with moving a sculpture. This is a massive peice and was asked by her #1 client if she would move it. My wife gets all kinds of oddball jobs she takes them. This artwork is 8' high and about 20' long. 11 parts bolted together made of aluminum. She broguht me in to help lay the base. Suddenly I'm a sculpture placement consultant. I told her and the owner how I would do it and was dismissed. I asked her if she marked the bases so each base could be put back in it's same position. I was told the four bases were the same. (They're not, trust me). Striking out on two of my observations I started telling her how she can go about fixing it when she goes to install it. She begged me not to talk about it saying she didn't want to be dreaming about the assembly. She disassembled everything just fine. Most of it will be a cake walk. It's the base that will be the pita. Anyway, the base is set. Next test won't come till we start reassembly.

So Matt ... What exactly is normal? I don't even try to figure out what that might be. Do you want to know why?

Because everything I know is wrong ........
