He knows I am into Corvettes and told me he was interested in buying a C4 from a local dealer. They wanted 7900 dollars for a 91 roadster with a 6 speed. It has 111K on it. He was going to take it to his wrench and see what he said. I told him it should be in good condition for what they were asking......especially with 111K on it. I stopped by and looked at it today and its a mess. Interior is completly worn out and the ECU is held on with duct tape......the Vert top hatch is ill fitting and the guages don't all work and I'm sure the Bose is fried.... I am going to tell him to move on fast and not look back. It would be a great $3 or 4K car if you were going to make a race car out of it. For a driver you will dump a ton of bucks into it. Nobody needs that kind of headaches. |
