I'll be surf fishing.....Whats biting and whats good bait? Should I pick up some spoons for Blues?I've been using frozen shrimp and pulling out a few and I mean a few! Catfish, Ladyfish and the rare small grouper and tossing them all back. Any Pompano around? I never caught one but I'm told they're good eating. I also read I actually need a license to surf cast? Never did before. I guess I can get one at a Walmart sporting goods dept huh? In regard to your Kid post, I came from nothing. One kid had THE Baseball, another had the bat, another had the football.....we all needed each other and it was a happier time. We grew up and gave our kids all we could. Maybe that was wrong, but, My oldest,21, is working in a Pool/ski shoppe and going to school part time. My second starts Penn State in the Fall, and my youngest is still in middle school. Yea, they are spoiled compared to what I had, but now that the boys are adults, I tell them "You can have anything in life you want.....get it yourself!". |
