I haven't shore fished much for many, many years now. I don't think you'll find any blues this time of year. I think it's more of a winter migration fish. Fishing slows down in the summer for many species. You might want to check out some pier fishing. There's always a chance the weather will be good enough and we can go out on a morning fishing trip to the reef if you want to drive down. I'm about 2 hours from WPB. In any case, we'll have to make arrangements to meet. There is some good bridge fishing in the Keys but that would be a 3+ hour drive. Surf casting is foriegn to me.
