They make homemade parts. They'll use a pulley off a washing machine, mix brands (Ford parts on a Chrysler or Chevy). Whatever needs to be done to keep it running. They are truly an industrious lot. Their mission in life is to make something from nothing. Many homes are made from scrounged materials. The people are getting a bad deal down there. Oh well. It's their country. |
