When I booked the trip, I selected "any balcony stateroom." This guaranteed a balcony room at the lowest price, but you wouldn't know your exact location until boarding. Well, we lucked out and scored a corner balcony on the fantail. The balcony was so big I couldn't believe we had it all to ourselves. Very cool! I've heard people knock Carnival for being too party-oriented and with too many kids. I was in my mid-30s with no kids. Had a blast and can't really recall any complaints.   |
