While watching the news the other day, while they were talking about the impending automatic budget cuts and the impacts - (lost jobs, furloughs, etc.), I thought back to when our company was having trouble back in the 80's. Our executives (you know, the ones who set policy, etc.) went without pay in order to save employees' jobs. I think that would be a fine solution for the gubbermint.
