I'm thinking couple shades lighter, almost 'ghosted'... car will have a slight metallic finish I think so I think maybe the stripe should not. Any ideas? To think I wanted to design cars when I grew up, I put that down on my fourth grade exit thingy. But - this is wearing me out...
I think a lighter stripe would be harder to ghost. Most of the ghost stuff is done with pearls (I assume this is a vinyl stripe).
I've done ghost flames but I prefer painting.
What color's the interior? That's important I think.
That he doesn't want black makes it harder,
Blue pearl would ghost nicely but it should be painted on.
Darker charcoal would be subtle. Possibly lighter charcoal.
Does he want the stripes to stand out? Or blend in?
Gary's 65 Mustang is charcoal silver with black stripes, I think it looks killer.
But when you start talkin' colors, everyone opinion is different.
