Then there are the pre and post track expenses that build over time. Brakes, tires, rotors and assorted things that go bump in the night. That's why I play at autocross. I can go years without major expense. 8 one minute runs don't take as hard a toll on the car. I prefer it to running the 1/8th or the 1/4 but that's just because I run what I brung. Though from what I've seen and heard, the 1/8th and 1/4 can have serious impact on discretionary income. You wanna play you gotta pay. I need to hit 6 numbers on a winning ticket. |
