I got outside and moved around a hosta or two, then planted the tomato, then got the leaf blower out, which led to getting the rake out, which led to multiple burn piles, two blisters.. three beers later that led to noticing vines and crap poking through the back fence which led to getting the snips and lopers (sp?) out, cut vines as well as old lady's stuff hangin over my fence, which led to me mowing down the monkey grass under my feet I kept tripping in - then raking again as it was full of pine needles.. geez... then neighbor's mower wouldn't start so I tried to open the fence and push mine over there for him. Fence jammed, so we fixed the fence. I moved a little pile of dirt and found worms, which led to me and other neighbor Doris digging up a lot more of them to start us a mini worm bed at her house.. then finally I cooked dinner, alligator, fried green tomatoes and taters and did the dishes, one load of laundry in and now I'm clean, too. Geez.. what happened to sitting on my ass today? Have fun driving Matt, and yes Tom those turned thingies are nice with the different colored woods and all, three of them would look nice hanging from the chains on my grandfather clock.... |
