It's a shitload of work.

After all the fiberglass repairs, I shot one coat of PPG K36, the expensive urethane primer and wet sanded that.

Then any small deviation was filled with glazing filler, the good stuff, not what you see on the shelf at AutoZone.
There is no glazing on the car that's over 1/32ond thick.

Then, shot 3 full coats of K36 , it's really hard to sand.

Then spray a guide coat of flat black.

The entire car was then block sanded with 320 dry.

Another guide coat.

Then block sanded again with 400 wet.

Another guide coat.
Then hand sanded with 600 wet.

The primer is extremely flat, now, if this was a show car, we'd shoot 2 more coats of primer and do it all again.

Next, spray one coat of PPG primer sealer.

3 color coats

3 clear coats.

Block sand the whole damn thing again and break out the buffer.
