Busy again here at the day job today - got a motorcoach in to wrap. I dread that.
Gris - that chief this is a mess... she is our paper's police and courts reporter. Evidently he had been teaching without proper credentials/permissions and it got outed, as well as him using NCIC to run people illegally, including her among other things he's done. He is a real jackass and not well liked her. Was ran out from GA and came here. He made some unprofessional comments on FB about her, one or two crossing a line of libel - implying she's a drug user, and what not when she isn't. She quit the paper over it, and the publisher there got a lawyer. Chief got 30 days no pay and then he manned up and resigned. The entire town here, b out 60k of us - well most of us - are glad he's gone and think there's a handful more that need to go with him.
