Origin: Calvous is derived from the New Latin word calvus meaning “bald.” Today is NATIONAL BOSS/EMPLOYEE EXCHANGE DAY Each year on the Monday following Labor day, you could have the opportunity to see how the other half within your company works as it is National Boss/Employee Exchange Day. On this day, you and your boss are to switch places for the day and see how the other one spends their day. Can you do their job? Can they do your job? NATIONAL BOSS/EMPLOYEE EXCHANGE DAY HISTORY This day was created to help bosses and employees learn an appreciation for each other. However, within our research, we were unable to find the creator of National Boss/Employee Exchange Day, an “unofficial” national holiday. |
