I'll have to try that. Made the usual Sunday morning trip to the nursing home, got the Vette out, then hit Wally World, then off to some place not far off called Parker Homestead, 6 generations of a Parker family, lots of old shacks and implements and that sort of thing, kettle corn, jams, honey - the usual. Was something to do and see for a couple hours and took the back way home, a curvy road. Then took the beach chair to the small lake here and sat for a couple hours in the sun staring at the water and the leaves changing on the trees. I'm so not ready for fall. Saw a HUGE catfish, bout the size of the bottom of my leg - and figures I didn't take a pole.... |
