Did the nursing home thing and instead of preaching a couple of locals were there playing gospel music on their guitars. Preacher was there for a couple short words and prayers but it was nice. One of the guys that played is a friend of mine, owns the Ford dealership there. The lady that sang is the mayor. Left there then drove about an hour and went junk sale shopping. Didn't get anything but was out of the house. Stopped for a burger, fries and ice cream cone at a well known dairy freeze on the way back - love the place. Should've known that ice cream would not sit well but it was good. The time change already has me screwed up - was up at 6:30. That's nuts. Why again do we have to do this? I could care less what time the sun comes up, let it be light when I get off work at night. |
