Subject: Re: Election Day 4 Nov 2014 by vetteblondie on 2014/11/4 16:25:45 Got up early and got my votes in - used the paper ballot so the machine would not be able to 'change' my votes like I've been seeing on some online news reports. Who knows, paper ballots might not be counted correctly, either. I'm not straight up dem or repub, don't vote a party line, but I try to pick the person that best represents my views. Had a scare on the way to work.. a van pulling a trailer on the opposite lane to me lost two wheels off his trailer, had I not been speeding, the first one would have hit me. Heard this whirring sound then saw the thing flying at me, missed my tailgate by a few feet. Then I keept looking back to see yet another fly out into traffic. Not sure if anyone was hit or not. Due to rain here today, still warm but temps due to drop overnight and rain again tomorrow. Nice toolbox, Matt! Happy Tuesday... |
