I also got quite a bit done in the shop. Made some big headway on some rolling cabinets, worked on two different counter tops and did some cleaning of the shop done in between parental visits. I had one parent, very interested in what his son was learning and in me and my experience. After telling him that this was my 35th year of teaching, he said, 35? That can't be right. How old are you? I told him I was almost 60, he says, No, I'm 42 and you look younger than me. I thanked him, but assured him that I was almost 60. And on a side note.....he was dead serious. |
