Subject: RE:Racing fans, what's your favorite forms of motorsports? by dan0617 on 2008/1/27 21:22:34 NASCAR all the way for me. Wife and I go to 6 races a year and camp for a week at every one of them. Camp at the track or within walking distance so we can stay 3/4 drunk the whole weekend. It is a great time. Would LOVE to catch the NASCAR drivers at Eldora but can't this year. I prefer short tracks, and of course Dover, the 1 mile short track!! The fun to be had while camping at Dover is unbelieveable. I'm going to enjoy the flashlight drags this year with the vette and maybe go to Beaver Springs once or twice, but as far as a spectator I'm a NASCAR guy. (As a side note, I do wish they would allow 3 or 4 different tire compound choices to allow a guy to choose soft or hard or something in between, and I wish they would put on rain tires and run in the rain to make it more interesting) |
