The presidents personal OPINION or BELIEF on things like gay marriage or abortion or climate change, etc should not be relevant. Yet it seems to be the first qualifier in an election. The executive branch doesn't create laws or pass judgement on constitutionality of them. It does however command the military, and they never seem to agree with me on that endeavor. |
