Made it home in good time, right at 6 hours. 372 miles on 12.2 gallons 30.4mpg not bad, especially when we had about a 15 mile run where I was at 90+. It's a long open road between Walsenburg and LaJunta (71 miles).Unloaded the car and then got the wash equipment out and gave it a good bath and put her away, nice and comfy under the cover. It was hot when we made the eastern Colorado plains, mid 90's and the same when we got home. Not looking forward to this week's heat they are predicting. |
