Below is a pic of my wife's relatives that got together from Cali, NY, Ohio and Florida. True to holiday fashion is a mix of Jews, Christians, agnostics and others. Anglo, Hispanic, Afro and Native. Overall the dinner held no major controversies till the end when a familial spat broke out involving my BIL, ex SIL, her sister and her husband and the "new" husband of my ex-SIL. It wouldn't have been a true Thanksgiving if familial tensions or clashes of ideologies concerning religion or politics didn't break out.  A good time was had by all and in the end everybody left happy. (The spat went mostly unnoticed but I picked up on a couple of f-bombs flying around.)  |
