She called our accountant right away and I overheard in the conversation a figure of over 18k being discussed. To myself I thought I knew it was going to be expensive but this is way more than I expected. We sold the rental house last year and capital gains was due on the sale. Turns out they were talking some figures on her business account and the 18k figure had nothing to do with our personal. When I did get the figure for our payment it was easier to take since it was considerably less than the 18k figure I thought it was going to be. Still, our share was enough to buy a C4 driver. lol |
