A guy I work for here (the doors I'm finishing are for apartments he is having built) is the meteorologist for the weather modification team (cloud seeders). Any time the weather gets bad he gets giddy. Yesterday was one of those days. Today he shows me some pictures of the tornado and I'm in awe of the detail and say they HAD to be close to the storm to show that kind of detail. He said they were taken from about 300 yards. "Tom, wouldn't you just love to be that close to one of those storms?" Me, "Hell no. I don't want to be any where near that close to a tornado." He tells me tomorrow (thursday) has all the signs of another round of storms....I guess we'll see. That's a lot of water, Letty. |
