Subject: Re: The Sunday Chat.......8-28 by BillH on 2016/8/28 15:50:20 Boy, yesterday pushed the limits of the old excuse "That's Racing". As soon as we left town on Friday , the pickup we were towing with wouldn't shift, then it cleared up. Then, there was a big rig wreck on I-5 that shut the road down for an hour. Saturday Julian (the driver) and I did tech on 50 cars first thing in the morning. When warming up the Atlantic, the alternator belt came off, missed the first session. Second session, the car died on the track on the first lap, towed in. Found a bad connection on the ECM relay and found that the alternator bracket was broken. Got those fixed but the car wouldn't run right, Julian got about 4 laps in for the weekend. Got home at 10:00 p.m. I did get to see Pete's new Wolf run on the track. Wild car, it's all carbon fiber even the roll bars. |
