Ok, I'm back. The worst part of the procedure was the little gal had to stick me twice to get the IV started. I knew the first time was not going to work as it hurt like h3ll the moment she stuck me. Then dug around trying to get the thing 'threaded'. After a bit she gave up and said she would try another location. She kept apologizing. The second time it went in without a hitch. Back of my hand is still sore.

Wheeled me into the OR and they turned me on my side and the anesthesiologist said that my hand might burn a bit, as she was going to flush the line......that's the last I remember until 45 minutes later when I'm back in the recovery room. Another 15 or 20 minutes later and they let us come home. It's just a walk down the alley home. A half hour later and my head is back to clear. But my stomach is rolling and I don't want to be far from the toilet. They pumped me full of air (I guess that's normal procedure) and now I just have to pass it.

As far as the procedure, the colon looked clean, he stopped short of calling it "beautiful" like the last time, but said it looked good. My esophagus, he said looked a little inflamed where it meets the stomach. He took a biopsy, but wasn't too concerned. I go back to see him Dec 2.

They told me to take it easy today. So I will.
