In a month or two you can get back into some heavy lifting.  Worked a full day today for the company installing gutters. Sue asked if I'd do it for her. I could have said no. Something tells me that would not have been a wise decision. A mason is extending a brick walkway in the back yard and adding a new one to my neighbors gate. Soon will be a patio brick deck out at the office/shed. Plenty of work lined up. Chipping away at it as I can. Side story. A guy I worked with back in the 80's was killed Friday night when a car ran into the back of the car he was driving on the way home from work. 52 years in the U.S Postal Service and in his 70's. Never drew even a day's retirement money. He was #1 on the Miami seniority list. I always said that if I died before I retired I was coming back to haunt everyone. By the way, you max out on how much money you get monthly percentage wise at 42 years. |
