Rush hour used to be 7-9am and 5-7pm... don't know the trend anymore. But if the traffic is light, it's about 30 minutes faster going thru. Richmond has some great places to eat... there is an area off 95 called Shockoe Slip/Shockoe Bottom. Right along the James River. Another old fave was Penny Lane, a British pub. The owner used to be a chef on the Queen Elizabeth II. http://m.mainstreethub.com/pennylanepub About a mile west of 95, using the Broad St exit. You will pass where I used to work, VDOT, the short building in the middle... Central Office. |
